On 3rd May, 2011 - Dave and Anna Simpson, Henley emailed:

'... just a quick to note to say a huge thank you for today’s cookery course, both Anna and myself had a really enjoyable and educational experience. We’ve given in and invited some family round to help us to polish off the delicious food that we are now proud owners of (although the chicken tikka masala has been slightly diminished in quantity by a few quick “tasters”. Today has definitely given me a renewed enthusiasm to master the ability to cook the perfect curry. It was a real privilege to have spent the day with you both, thank you so much for entertaining and enlightening us with your passion for our favourite food...'

Pat Replied: So glad you enjoyed it. So did we. You were great fun.

On 30th May, 2011 - Derek Barnes, Fareham Facebooked:

'... I had a great time. The food was delicious. I'm not a stranger to attempting a curry but there was something missing and I have never been fully happy with it. Your demo showed up some stuff to me and your rice was best I've tasted. I think it will be Sunday Curry tomorrow, the Roast can go hang...'

Pat Replied: Thanks Derek, so glad that you enjoyed it. Dominique cooked a roast lamb with trimmings tonight - might have to join you with a curry for Sunday lunch!

On 15th April, 2011 - Eugene R Scheiman and Pam Armstrong, Broadway, New York emailed:

'... as you know Pam and I travelled over 3000 miles to take your full day curry course. Every mile was worth it. The information and skill you shared with us was fascinating and will be very useful in the next Indian food meal we serve to our friends. The friendly and enthusiastic nature in which you both approached sharing your skills made the course even better. I am thinking of pushing you to create full-day course Day 2, for our next trip.

'... just a quick note to thank you and Dominique for making last Wednesday's master class such a memorable experience. We both thoroughly enjoyed our Indian voyage of culinary discovery and what we learnt will be invaluable in our quest for the perfect 'restaurant style' home cooked curry. The food we prepared was devoured by an appreciative family audience, made even better by the fact that there wasn't even any washing up afterwards!...'

They absolutely loved their course and said one of the highlights was your great personality. We all sat down to a curry supper that night and the main word on all our lips was 'sublime'. Thanks for making it such a great occasion and please pass on our thanks to Dominique who worked extremely hard...'

Thanks for the wonderful course. It was the best Christmas present I have ever received. Hopefully the guy in the Red Suit will leave me another voucher this year.

Says: Sarah Waycott (on the Amazon site) "Pat and Dominique Chapman are amazing... on the 3rd November, 2007 my sister and a  bunch of us had a Pat Chapman cookery course for her hen weekend which was brilliant. He is a very funny man and his wife and him make an entertaing due. This was inexpensive and I thoroughly recommend it to all. Since then I have been madly buying his books which make such authentic curries your guests and eaters will be amazed and even think its beter than you local restaurant."
