The price reflects the relatively high cost of ingredients needed for sushi. But sushi is today’s trendiest party food. So you can make your investment pay off next time you’re the host! In fact you will take home so much Sushi that you would be advised to hold a Sushi Party that night!!!

On the Course you meet the special ingredients required.
Make sushi rice, cut the fish (sashimi), make accompanying dips
and make several types of sushi:


   * Sushi Nori – Nori-Zushi  aka: Sushi Roll, Maki Sushi or the California Roll
        Using Nori Laver (special seaweed sheets) which is the rolled up around the flavoured rice.  Fillings include                 anything long and colourful, eg tuna, smoked salmon, trout, crabsticks, cucumber, asparagus, omelette, chives,             caviar, fish roe, etc etc.  We show how to do round, square, and tear-drop shapes, and how to get different                     diameters of roll. Also how to garnish the finished sushi attractively, and sort out the end pieces.
    * Inverted Sushi - ie with the rice outside, rolling with climgfilm and the mat and dousing with sesame seeds.
    * Tamago - Beef steak marinated in home-made teriyaki
            sauce, cooked, cooled, thinly sliced, then spread with
            sushi rice etc and rolled in thin omelette.

Either:
    * Edomae-zushi or Nigiri-zushi - pieces of raw fish over vinegared rice balls.
Or:
    * Temaki - or Hand Rolls, hand-rolled cones made from nori, sushi rice and ingredients.
