This course will enable you to cook a full Indian meal with Pat Chapman, which will serve at least 6 people.

The menu will consist of one chicken curry and prawn curry, (or two chicken curries), one vegetable dish, one dhal dish and two rice dishes as follows:
Chana Chaat Salat and Vegetable Samosas, with Tandoori Mint Raita

Chicken Tikka Masala actually Murgh Makhani (Butter Chicken), Chicken or Prawn Jalfrezi,Oonbario – Roasted Vegetables,  Tarka Dhal, Pullao Rice cooked by 2 methods.
Badam (almond) or Mango Shrikand, a light syllabub (smoothie)
If you have particular dishes you want to make, let us know in advance and budget and time permitting, we may be able tailor-make part or all of the course to suit your requirements.
We supply all ingredients and equipment.

The above can be divided into as many as six courses:
  • First Course: Popadums (not demonstrated) and mango chutney.
  • Second Course: Starters: Chana Chaat Salat and Vegetable Samosas, with Tandoori Mint Raita.
  • Third Course: Lamb curry, eg Classic Lamb Korma also called Royal Shahi Korma 
  • served with chupatti.
  • Fourth (Main) Course: One chicken curry, one vegetable dish, one dhal dish and a rice dish. eg Chicken Tikka Masala (Murgh Makhani), Oonbario – Roasted Vegetable, Tarka Dhal,  Pullao Rice
  • Fifth Course: Dessert eg Badam (almond) or Mango Shrikand, a light syllabub (smoothie)
  • Sixth Course. Coffee and an Indian sweetmeat (not demonstrated)
A full vegetarian option is also available.

The course ends with a light lunch of the chana chaat salat, samosas, chupatti and chutneys which you've just cooked and Shrikand for a light pudding.

If you wish to take away the above food can please bring your own takewaway containers, or we can sell you good quality microwaveable and dish washer-proof leak-free lidded sets at £5 for 4 tubs.
